In a grusome incident a youth was stabbed with scissor to death by his friend over petty issue in the state capital of Chhattisgarh. Police have arrested the accused.
Raipur Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Yadav said that the accused identified as Mahesh Yadav (30) have been taken into custody on murder charges. While the victim was Shankar Mahanand, who was murdered.
The incident took place on intervening night of Monday-Tuesday following an argument over a petty issue among them.
In a fit of rage, the accused stabbed Mahesh with a twisted scissor lying there due to which he died on the spot.
Police said that the accused, who was on the run after the crime, has been arrested on Tuesday morning from Station Road area under Ganj police station limits in Raipur. Police recovered scissor and blood stained clothes from his possession.
Last week, two youths, who were streets vendors, allegedly stabbed a Kondagaon based man to death, after a verbal spat over bargaining of roadside eye gears in full public glare at traffic signal in Raipur’s Jaistambh Chowk.
