In a surprise visit, state chief Secretary RP Mandal along with additional chief secretary Subrat Sahoo on Thursday inspected the development and beautification works of Budha Talab being carried out by the Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) and Raipur Smart City Limited (RSCL).
They said that by completing the work within a time frame, it should be designed in such a way that this historical heritage will attract people of all age groups and make its special identity as a beautiful place in the state capital.
During the inspection, RMC Commissioner-cum- RSCL MD Saurabh Kumar gave detailed information regarding various stages of this important action plan.
At the inspection, the CS Mandal and ACS Sahoo took detailed information about the scheme for rejuvenation of the pond and also visited the area and gave their suggestions.
RMC Commissioner apprised them that RSCL and RMC together are finalizing the first phase of the scheme for rejuvenation of the historic Budha Talab of Raipur.
As per the area of Budha Talab, the largest fountain in the country is being set up and it will have floating deck, large entrance, musical fountain, tunnel fountain, two-way pathway, attractive landscaping, laser show etc.
