Indian Institute of Management, Raipur, is all set to host a two-day ‘Leadership Summit’ on 17th and 18th October 2020. This year the summit will take place virtually. The theme of the summit is ‘New Age, New Realities.’ The event will be marked by the presence of 33 corporate dignitaries and industry stalwarts from organizations of the likes of Novartis, Dell, Rakuten, Western Union, Emami Limited, Pine labs and many more.
The pandemic has slowed down the industry growth, which has led organizations to take proactive and innovative steps. Acclimatizing to the fast-paced work environments has become the need of the hour for today’s leaders. Automation of workflow processes has been the new norm as firms all over the corporate horizon are trying hard to increase profitability by reducing costs incurred and associated latency, where they aim for a holistic development approach to achieve the same.
Digital Capabilities have become a necessity to compete in the long run. Organizations have no option but to augment their core capabilities to leverage insights, focus on bridging the gap between physical and digital worlds through various digital platforms, and modernize their systems to accelerate innovation. The discussion will be focused on building a culture of digital receptivity among the employees and implementing capabilities to effectively strengthen the reach and position of one’s business.
IIM Raipur’s 4th Leadership Summit aims to build on these themes and provide deep insights on the same with panel discussions on topics such as Rapidly Changing Business Scenario: Implication For New Managers, Challenging Paradigms Of Work & Workplace, Crisis Inspiring Innovation, Execution In the Digital Economy, Developing your Business’ Digital Capabilities & Emerging People Strategy and its Meaning for HR.
The Chief Guest for the summit will be Ashish Kumar Chauhan, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bombay Stock Exchange. Chauhan was instrumental in setting up India’s first International Exchange, inaugurated by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2017. Ashish Kumar has over 29 years of rich industry experience. He has been accorded with several Indian and International awards, including the Distinguished Alumnus Awards from both his Alma Maters, IIT Bombay and IIM Calcutta.
The Summit will be a congregation of corporate stalwarts from diverse fields and backgrounds where a myriad of ideas will be discussed, arguments, and counter arguments will be made. But in the end, both the audience and the participants shall return with a much clearer view of the terrain ahead. Several roads diverge ahead of us. The question is, which one shall we take? IIM Raipur’s Leadership Summit 2020 aims to help students find answers and have a clear mindset.
