Government of India’s NITI Aayog has lauded Kondagaon district for securing good ranking in overall delta and has decided to provide additional allocation of Rs 3 crore for the district. Along with the efforts and achievements of Kondagaon, NITI Aayog has commended the district for overcoming challenges and performing well as the aspiring district.
NITI Aayog has taken this decision based on the performance of Kondagaon district in September-October 2020. Aayog provides allocation to the districts securing ranks through the challenge method under the Aspirational Districts Programme.
Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant gave aforementioned information to Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh through a letter. Amitabh Kant has stated in the letter that ‘I congratulate the district team as well as Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) for their hardwork. He has also asked in the letter to issue a Good Service Entry to the District Collector for the excellent performance of the district.
